Dec. 8, 2006: Santa Rampage! La Posada participated in "El Pregòn" (annual Christmas parade) as cycling santas, with signs promoting bicycle use as a non-polluting, safe and healthy means of transportation.

April, 2007. Visiting chef. During March and April, we employed Peruvian chef Fernando to introduce new dishes and teach our staff to make them. The project was very successful: we now have more than a dozen original plates to offer as specials of the day. Here Elena and Veronica learn to make foccacia.

August 18, 2007. Grand opening of our new location 'Casa del Abuelo' with real-time upside-down painting by a local artist.

January 10, 2007: Donation to Civil Defense. The eruption of Volcano Tungurahua in August, 2006 displaced dozens of families living on the western flank of the mountain. Many were still living in refuges in January, so La Posada donated a bike trailer full of bed covers to the local civil defense office, which distributed them to the needy families.
